Art is the mirror of society and the path that allows nations to become more civilized, cultured, and

connected with their identity and with other peoples. Since art is a universal language spoken by all,

from East to West, the Art Cairo Exhibition was established to showcase selected art groups from the

Middle East, North Africa, and the Arab world.

The Art Cairo Exhibition began in the critical and difficult year of 2020. Despite the challenges back then,

Editions of Art Cairo Exhibition

Art Cairo Exhibition was born large, welcomed a number of Arab artists, then expanded and flourished

year after year until it became an important cultural art hub in our Arab region. Here is a summary of the

previous editions of the exhibition:

1. 2020: The inaugural edition focused on the importance of having a stage to showcase contemporary Arab art.

2. 2021: Building on the first edition's success, this edition broadened the scope featuring a more diverse group of artists and galleries across the MENA region.

3. 2022: Art Cairo deepened its commitment to education and dialogue through its annual "Dialogue" symposium which attracted thought leaders in art from across the Arab world.

4. 2023: Art Cairo 2023 achieved a new level of maturity, combining modern creativity and the rich cultural heritage of the Arab world.

5. 2024: The Egyptian Museum hosted the fifth edition focused on integrating contemporary art with our ancient history and wonderful heritage. It featured over 3000 artworks, a rich program of workshops, lectures, and private tours.
